This is a ridiculous article from Japanese researchers that says "praise is as good as cash to brain"...
Paying people a compliment appears to activate the same reward center in the brain as paying them cash, Japanese researchers said on Wednesday.
They said the study offers scientific support for the long-held assumption that people get a psychological boost from having a good reputation.
Dr. Norihiro Sadato's (the Japanese National Institute for Physiological Sciences in Okazaki, Japan) team studied 19 healthy people using a brain imaging technique known as functional magnetic resonance imaging, or fMRI.
Was that a typo. Did they really mean to say "19 wealthy people"? Only people with money don't need more money.
Crazy Japanese! Then again, these are the same people that brought us MXC and this crazy game show...

That was great fun! The kids loved it. We should have more game shows like that here.
Hilarious. Which way to Japan?
